Thru Nannu's eyes: Cruising to New York....

This 2-week cruise begins in Quebec, Canada and finishes in New York City, USA. We’re on board the MS Eurodam. We were in Quebec for 2 days prior staying in a suite at Chateau Frontenac and exploring “Old Quebec” including Terrasse Dufferin, Lower Town, Notre-Dame Basilica, La Citadel de Quebec and other places of interest.

As we sailed out we navigated through the great St Lawrence River and its picturesque banks and out into the Gulf of St Lawrence. We subsequently berthed in Charlottetown (on Prince Edward Island) and later  into Sydney & Halifax (on Nova Scotia). At each stop we explored voraciously and delightfully.

Venturing out (slightly) into the Atlantic Ocean, we sailed down the coast towards Bar Harbour (in Maine) and enjoyed a wondrous time here, most especially sampling the world renowned “Maine Crab” and exploring the surrounding countryside which reminded us so much of Bright in VIC (Australia).

Leaving Bar Harbour we sailed further down the coast with the next berth being Boston (in Massachusetts) where we indulged into the American history of Independence….and the Boston cuisine.

Leaving Boston we made our way to Newport (in Rhode Island)  and then through the Long Island Sound and into our final berth at New York.

I hope you enjoy this cruise “thru Nanna’s eyes”….
