Thru Nannu's eyes: Kangaroo Is....

We visited Kangaroo Island, off the coast of South Australia, for the first time in 2011 and what a treasure trove it was and still is. We stayed a week in a fabulous B&B  called The Rookery @ Christmas Cove.

Kangaroo Island is a kaleidoscope of wonders. With its striking rock formations, stunning & wild shorelines, pristine little beaches, diverse bird-life, numerous penguin & seal colonies and incredible landscapes of “eerie-looking” eucalyptus (sugar gum trees), drooping sheoak & balanced with a variety of shrubland.

Kangaroo Island is also home to “gun-barrel” Highways/roads, delicious artisan foods, “teasing” wineries (Bay of Shoals Winery), seductive dining, worthwhile artists (Sheps Art Studio) AND a history filled with hardships.

I hope you enjoy this glimpse of Kangaroo Island “Thru Nannu’s Eyes….”
